We live 35 mins to the west of Kamloops  in  the central Interior of BC. We have had Doberman Pincher's and a Miniature Pincher, during our married life. After our Min Pin passed on we found we  wanted a dog that was excellent with children as  we have four beautiful Grandchildren, who are in and out of our home all the time.

We fell in love with the Bulldog's personality and their love of children.  We are now showing and breeding  quality  Canadian Champion Bulldogs. Our line includes American and English bloodlines.

We are members in good standing with the Kamloops and District Kennel Club and with the Canadian Kennel Club and with the Bulldog Club of Central Canada. We are breeding under the rules and regulations of the C.K.C.

Isabella is a Canadian Champion, she achieved this in five show weekends, taking five Best of Breeds along with numerous other wins. Her very first show she took a Group 4th!

Aug 31st 2012 Isabella passed her CGN testing, and is now
"Can CH Jeansonbulls Isabella Lister CGN."

Our dogs are health checked before breeding, Bella has been certified by CERF.
She has been tested and is healthy, for Cardiac and Patella's, and has her OFA  Clearances
and OFA #'s. Her Thyroid has tested normal. She has a Bronze Medal Health Award from the BCCC.

Isabella, is a registered English Bulldog, from Jeansonbulls of Winnipeg with a Championship Pedigrees both in confirmation and temperament on both sides.

Her Sire, BIS MBPIS C CH Symurun's Will I AM CGN TT finished his Canadian championship in three  show weekends. He was first Bulldog in Canada to win an all breed Best in Show as a Jr Puppy.

She is the Great Granddaughter of  BISS AM Ch Little Pond's Chief HOF, on her Sire's side who was The Beckett Award Winner for 2000,  2002, 2003, 2004. He was also BCA Hall of Fame Producer.
We bred Bella to Graybulls Ketel One, who was the #1 Bulldog in Canada last year.

Listerbulls Desert Jewels then went into the ring!!

In the Kamloops Show she took Best of Breed, then Best Puppy in Show on the first day of showing. She went on to take Winners, Best Puppy and Opposite.  At Mt Cheam  she won Best Puppy, Best Of Winners, Best of Opposite, Reserve Winners. She finished at the Fraser Valley Show, taking Best of Bred all the days she was there!!!
She is now a Canadian Champion at the age of 9 mons.

Our Goal is to offer healthy well balanced puppies.  We recommend that you read all the Bulldog books you can, do your homework and make sure the Bulldog  is the right dog for you. Bulldogs can have allergies and other health issues you need to know of before you decide if your going to buy one. You need to  understand  the Brachycephalic Syndrome .  Most all Bulldogs  have  a enlongated soft Palette, this is because of the shape of his head in some cases this causes snoring and in severe cases they must have a soft palette surgery to trim it back. You will start to notice a roaring sound as they get excited or when they are hot.  It can also cause them to regurgitate their food. Surgery will correct this.

They are a funny, loving, gentle dog that can be as stubborn as a Bull. They are by nature a quiet dog. You won't be able to run them beside your bike, walks are fine, they love to explore on hikes.  They are a social dog, and adore children.

Our dogs  use the treadmill when it is too hot or too cold to go outside. Bulldogs are heat  sensitive, they are not an outside dog. You will need a small child's pool for them to enjoy the hot  summer days especially if you live in a hot climate as we do. They need supervision in the heat.
They love the  water however they  don't swim, as a rule, due the the bulk of the head and front shoulders, they sink.  They are chewers and you will need the toughest toys you can find.
They need Dog Obedience Training and lots of social skills, to become a well behaved dog. The Canine Good Neighbor Program is also recommended.

When looking at potential buyers, we will be looking for knowledge of the breed and the willingness to take their puppies to the next level.  So they become productive members of your human pack, We only sell to approved homes and require all our puppy homes to have a secured fenced yard. We also require all our puppies to wear a harness, collars for Bulldogs are only for tags. This is due to a tragedy resulting in the death of one our  puppies.

All our puppies come with CKC registrations, with a health certificate, and are sold only as pets, on a non breeding contract, thus will need to be spayed or neutered by 7 months of age. We require proof of spay or neuter. We also include 6 weeks of Pet Secure free of charge. We expect you to keep the Pet Secure up for the first 2 years.

Please contact us for further information or if you have any questions.

Double clCHERRY EYE:
This is when the gland from the third eye lid protrudes in the corner of the eye. You will need to bring the dog to the Vet and have it removed or tacked. This is not a major surgery.

DEVELOPMECHERRY EYE:
This is when the gland from the third eye lid protrudes in the corner of the eye. You will need to bring the dog to the Vet and have it removed or tacked. This is not a major surgery. If you have it removed, you have a slightly greater chance of getting dry eye which will require the use of eye lubricant applied daily. Ask your Vet what they recommend you have done.

COCCIDIOSIS:
Clinical signs of coccidiosis usually are present or shortly following stress such as weather changes; weaning; overcrowding; long automobile or plane rides; relocation to a new home and new owners; and/or unsanitary conditions. Symptoms or signs of coccidiosis will depend on the state of the disease at the time of observation. In general, coccidiosis affects the intestinal tract and symptoms are associated with it. In mild cases, only a watery diarrhea may be present, and if blood is present in the feces, it is only in small amounts. Severely affected animals may have a thin, watery feces with considerable amounts of intestinal mucosa and blood. Straining usually is evident, rapid dehydration, weight loss and anorexia (off feed) also may be clinically visible. One of the most prevalent canine coccidia is S. tenella and during autopsies of dead animals appears as microscopic muscle cysts in the host animal. Oocysts in the feces of dogs are also microscopic in size and can only be positively identified through lab tests or direct observation under a microscope.Best to with hold food for 24 hours then give small bits of plain cooked rice and chicken and also chicken broth. If problem persists after 3 days and or if the dog or puppy is not drinking or eating at all consult your Veterinarian as this can be life threatening and is also contagious to other animals.

DEMODEX MANGE:
There are two forms of demodex mange: localized and generalized. Bulldogs might have an outbreak of demodex mange due to puberty, stress or possible something they are allergic to in their environment or from the food they eat. Some bulldogs can also have a lowered immune system and cannot fight off mites naturally. One thing that is helpful is called ivermectin which is given 1cc a day for at least 30 days. It is always best to consult your own veterinarian.

DEVELOPMENT PROBLEMS:
The bulldog grows very fast and it is important that you keep play and exercise properly managed for the first 9 months, early joint damage could be permanent and may lead to irregular growth in the bones or lead to joint deformities or osteoarthritis. Keep your puppy off of slippery floors ,laminate ,linoleum and ice in the winter.

DIET:
I feed "LAMB AND RICE" dog food from Costco but other brands of Lamb and Rice by "IAMS","NUTRO","EUKANUBA" & "PURINA" are a few other good ones. I find that it gives them a really nice shiny coat and they look very healthy .Also alot of English bulldogs have problems with chicken or beef protein dog foods such as skin problems.

ENTROPIAN:
This is where the eye lashes have turned inwards and rub against the eye. Sometimes it is only stray eye lashes that are growing the wrong way, which is called Distichiasis. These can be removed by the Vet. Entropian needs surgery. If not taken care of promptly, the lashes will eventually scratch the cornea and could severely damage the eye or, even worse, cause blindness.

FLEAS AND MITES:
Revolution®, It Prevents heartworm disease, kills fleas and controls ear mites and deer tick infestation. Formulation is a topical liquid used monthly and is also water proof.

Advantage Multi is really good to use especially for English Bulldogs since some of them can get demodex mange .It Prevents heartworm disease, kills fleas and controls ear mites and deer tick infestation. Formulation is a topical liquid used monthly and is also water proof.

 HIP DYSPLASIA:
Hip dysplasia is genetic but can be encouraged via environmental factors (slippery floors, jumping, etc.). This occurs when the ball and the socket of the hips do not fit properly. A high percentage of bulldogs have hips and legs that don't fit properly.

ITCHY SKIN:
Some bulldogs have allergies to grass, carpet or possibly the food you are feeding them. Some dogs are allergic to corn or wheat in the food that they are being fed.NT PROBLEMS:
